The way we conduct our relationships provides important information about how our internal landscape is organized. Together, we will work to understand all of your modes of relating and all the ways you feel connected, or not so connected.
For our purposes relationships will include more than just the ones you have with significant people in your life. We will look at how you relate to yourself including your thoughts, feelings and behaviors; how you relate to your struggles; and sometimes we will look at the relationship that develops in the therapy room.
For some, relationships with people have been too difficult, painful or disappointing and food, work, shopping or the internet have filled in where people have failed.
We will look at that too.
